Yep, air shocks... but be careful!! I've run air shocks and larger tires since '94, and the air shocks can blow out the upper shock mount. It's repairable, either by yourself, or by a welder, but just keep it in mind. Here's some of my old messages about this:
One about air shock dangers: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=92298
One about how I fixed the mounts, they still haven't moved:

If you do a <a href="search.php?s="><img src="images/top_search.gif" alt="Search" border="0"></a> in the Suspension/Chassis/Brakes forum for "air shocks", you'll find a ton of messages about 'em.
I'm actually going to get rid of the air shocks soon. I think it's time my car got a new look to it. I'll be getting rid of the P275/60r15's (which are now bald, just noticed that, it rained in NJ after months of hot dry weather and I couldn't get any traction off a stop light!) for smaller P255/60r15's.
Oh mine are the Gabriel Hi-Jackers, with the dual hose kit (one air valve per side) to allow preloading of the right rear shock for the racetrack. You can buy the normal hose kit with one air valve and a T-fitting that goes to each side.
