eibach pro kit question

if i get a set of the eibach pro kit springs, will my car bottom out more becuae its lowered? it bottoms out like hell now becuase my stock springs are pretty shot. should i get stock replacements ones or an aftermarket set. i dont want a drop kit, just some nice performance ones that wont bottom out.

My car rarely bottoms out, and I don't think about it much. I think it really depends what roads you drive on, most of the streets around here really suck. The pro-kit springs are a lot easier to work with than stock springs, because the front ones are a lot shorter (but stronger).

I don't bottom out, but I scrape that front air dam a lot more...no biggie.

I bottom out enough to be bothersome and Im always looking for obstacles in the road ahead which gets tiring with my 50 min each way commute and me working midnights. Also I cant go to quick oil change places anymore as there is a safety lip to keep the tires from going in the "pit" and I cant clear it so Im back to changing my own oil and Im lazy lol. Also my cats have suffered terribly and they are always getting abused especially when I drive in new areas when I dont know the roads and what to look for. And although the drop isnt too much lower than stock I now need to jack the rear and then the front since I cant get my jack under the car as it sits so looking back Im not sure Im all that happy. The car handles ALOT better and corners with little body roll and actually doesnt bottom out as bad as it sounds but it does make for more work so be sure thats what youre willing to do if you have similar results to mine after installing the springs....

The EIBACH PRO-KIT I installed in my car does not cause excessive bottoming out. With the lowering of the car you have to take care when approaching driveway curbs or sudden inclines. The only things I have dragged are the exhaust on an abnormally tall speed bump ( DAMN THE INVENTOR OF THE SPEED BUMP!) and the front air dam on curbs. IF YOU LOWER A CAMARO WITH THE FRONT LOWER (PAINTED) SPOILER BE VERY CAREFUL OF PARKING BLOCKS AND CURBS WHEN PARKING.

All in all the PRO-KIT was very well worth it in the areas of handling and performance, what was forsaken was well worth giving up in my opinion.

On jacking with a floor jack : drive up on 2 one foot sections of 2x4 under each tire and you should be able to get a jack under crossmember of the front end. still well worth it!

well as it is now, i bottom out on the smallest dips and bumps in the road if im traveling at 30 mph or better, and if i try and take a corner too fast the rear tires rub. its really bad if someone else is in the car. i dont think the pro kit could make it any worse.
