Transmission: A4, A4, slated to be a T56
It's my understanding that they'll bolt right up. The fronts won't though.

Rear is the same, front is different.

they question is why would you want to.

the 3rdgens got bigger sway bars than the 4th gens, if you want better handling , pick up a set of 1le/ws6 bars (36mm/24mm)

i found a 1LE front sway bar for sell here, once i got it on my car, i would be selling it and wanted to know if it would work on a 4th gen.

btw, whats the size of the stock IROC sway bar's?

i believe they are 34mm front 23??? rear.

i may be wrong there though, and i think it may actualy vary.

My '88 Iroc came with 34 mm hollow front and 24 mm rear bars.

You sure about that Ed? I thought the 34mm bars were solid - 36's are hollow for sure.

Yep, both the 34 and 36ers are hollow. My '91 RS came with the hollow 34 too.

I have a spare if anyone needs one.
