Who makes a steering box brace for thirdgens?
I've had enough of this frame cracking crap with my steering box and oversized tires. Before long there'll be nothing but welds in that entire area around the steering box. I want to eliminate every little bit of flex in that area. Wonderbar, shunderbar, doesn't do crap to stiffen up the frame like it should. I've been thinking of getting a brace made for the steering box like Currie Enterprises makes for Jeeps. One end of the brace attaches to the output shaft end of the steering box with elliptical brackets and the other end attaches to the frame on the on the other side. Think of it as a wonderbar for the steering box. Does anybody make these things or will have to get fabbed for it myself?

For the two guys above me-- you need to pay more attention to you reading, he said he already has a wonderbar and it doesn't work like it should. He's looking for another aditional brace of some type.

One vote for Lon's TDS bar here!
Hey.
I received my steering brace in silver from Top-Down Solutions. Looks part art, part anvil. Great service as well.
Peace,
K

He just says they don't work.To 88irocz28, AFrikanGoodTime is right. Retorque the k-member and even have the cracks professionally welded if you must.
