STB and SFC's???

are SubFrame Connectors and a Strut tower brace needed on a 89 Formula?

if so, what are the best and how much are they?

Depends on the plans for the car. Those two are prolly the single two most noticable chasis mods that can be done. Even on a stock car. Stiffen it right up.

In my opinion and that of many other 3rd Gen owners, YES!

I read that a wonder bar will do a better job of of bracing the front end, if I already have this would I notice anything from a strut tower brace on a dailey driver?

The STB just impoves and tightens the front end over the stock Wonder Bar which helps.

the wonderbar and STB do diffrent things.

the "wonderbar" or steering box brace ties the lower front frame together, it is there to prevent stress cracks.

the strut tower brace, does what it says it does, it braces the strut towers, so that under hard cornering, the strut towers cannot move in realationship to each other.

you will DEFINITELY want to do these mods., especially if you are going to put stiffer springs/struts/shocks in a t-top car! you won't regret it.

You'll regret that one if you do it. Go with the prokit, the sportline in my opinion is too big of a drop for a daily driver you're handling will be TOO stiff, you'll scrape on everything, speedbumps will be completely out of the question. Then bump steer issues and other things with youre suspension geometry will make it a poor choice. Save yourself the trouble and just sacrifice the 1/2'' and get the prokit. It still looks great.

well right now the car is lowered 2" in the front. the dork who had the car before him cut the front springs to give the car a rake. DUH!

so here goes:

Eibach Prokit
Bilstein shocks
SFC's

Yeah, what he said! Sportlines are a little low/stiff for a daily driver... unless you always wear a kidney belt when you drive! With the other mods you will be doing, your suspension should be plenty stiff.
