Front end problem???

I seem to have a big problem with the front end of my 1991 Firebird Formula. When I seem to hit the brakes at about 50 kind of hard the front end shakes really bad, the front tires and steering wheel shake. I dont want to get robbed by a mechaic so I am asking the F-body know hows' here. Please help, the regular guy who does my oil lifted her a while back and said the front end looked solid, but he is a Jap car guy, knows crap from Formula to standard cheap versions. Andy

shuttering in the front could be caused by the front rotors/pads..

when the last time you did a brake check/change.

thanks for the help, It was the rotor, had them both cut and now no more rattle. Only problem is slight pull to the right when braking a little hard, front end wheels aligned already. Andy

no problem. try bleeding the brakes if that doesnt work then you may need to replace the brake hose(s).
