so does that mean you finaly made up your mind and ordered a set of baers?
that means that i'm almost there.........the place i found with the cheapest price is quite a bit under the competition so i'm a little nervous since they are out of state to me.
most places are claiming 1-2 months max where as this guy is telling me "honestly" according to him to expect at least one month and possibly more?
i don't want to pay that much for something and not have it in my hands in more than 5-6 weeks so i'm curious as to how long everyone else waited.
also, lets not forget that i've been waiting 2 1/2 weeks now for them to send me a template which doesn't do much to prove different of their willingness to sell me a kit.
semms like alot of companies are like this though which is aggrivating. i mean why should i have to go so out of my way to give them my money for their product? should have the template in a week max and the kit once ordered should be no more than 4-5 weeks. just seems like poor business etiquite. o'well.
so anyone have a time scale for how long it took to recieve your kit?

i've been warned not to post any companies that aren't sponsoring the website.........if you want to know you have to email me. seems real fair huh?

No problem Kandied, I hope you do get them,it will my a great apperance mod to your car as wel as performance. Just make sure you get exactly what you want. Its a lot of $$$ but like I told ya earlier, its well worth it and you will not regret it.
yes you can get the template off of the site........but when your talking about fitting something as close as 13" brakes in a 16" wheel you HAVE to have it exact. i want the original template from baer as the scan loses a bit in transition. i doubt they would let me return the rotors if there was a problem right?

the template they provide has a ruler marked out on it that you measure. If the printed copy is correctly sized, it is a true to life copy of the overall dimensions of the brake kit. Have you tried the printed template yet? if you've got plenty of clearance with the printed template, then I wouldnt sweat it, but if its tight, then I'd probably be a little concerned. I think they reccomend a minimum of 1/10 of an inch clearance.
i have tried it, but even the people at baer themselves recommended waiting for the exact template from them as with this particular application it's recommended.
i don't know about this whole thing, i mean common sense would say that what 13" kit would fit with a 16" but then you see pictures of them here with them? go figure.
