10 bolt drum to 9 bolt disc, what exactly is involved???
Basically exactly what is says in the topic, what's involved to swap out a 10 bolt drum rear and put in a 9 bolt disc rear? What parts do I need, what problems should I expect, and what advice do you have? Thanks a lot.

Transmission: A4, A4, slated to be a T56
What rear is what year? It may make a small difference. I can get you the specifics when I get home later 2nite. All in all, maybe a prop valve change and e-brake cables. Not hard at all.

I got my posi/disc rear out of a 88 GTA, it was a straight swap, I needed no extra parts. The emergency brake cables worked just fine. This is from a 92 10 bolt/open diff/drum, to a 88/9 bolt warner/disc.

Also, where do you buy parts for the 9 bolt rears (gears, rebuild kits, posi, etc.)? I looked in Jeg's and didn't see anything specifically for the 9 bolt, only 10 bolt parts. Where do you get this stuff?
