You just need and adj. panhard bar and lower control arm relocation brackets. Thats it. Bump steer kits are not necessary and I have 17x9's up front with the Eibach sportlines (lower than pro-kit) without any rubbing at all.

He said lower it properly. Thats why i recomended the bump steer kit. The front geometry will change when lowering the car, so in order to restore it the bump steer kit is needed. It has nothing to with tire rub.

I knew about the kit but didn't know that the front geometry changed at all. I knew the rear did but not the front. You learn something new every day. Well than I geuss it wouldn't hurt to have but if he is a poor mans modder, like all thirdgeners are, he could probably save that for later

This may sound retarded but what exactly does the bump steer kit do?

The bump steer kit allows you to adjust the angle of your tie rods (outer I think). The adjustment is needed when the height of the car is changed (aka lowered) and the suspension geometry is thrown off. This can cause the unwanted effect of bump steer when you are roadracing. With the bump steer kit, you can correct the geometry of your tie rods and avoid bump steer. To read more about bump steer click here:
