You know the thingy ma-jig, um
there is the stearing arm coming out of the stearing box, and on the other side is one just like it but its bolted to the frame. I think that thing has too much play, what is it called???
just a bushing thing??? it has a zerk fitting and I grees all the time.
Had to pull starter today and I noticed it had a bit of play, well more than a bit but not a bunch. But enough where I'm sure it either need tightned or replaced.

It is a very simple swap...I would just swap the whole thing. I got mine from Performance Suspension Technology (PST) for about $35. Try to bolt it up in the same spot the old one was....I dont know if it makes a whole heck of a lot of difference....I just know you can adjust for bumpsteer by moving the thing up or down on its mounting area. Someone else might know if you need to get the frontend realigned afterwards. I did, only because I replaced all the frontend components at once. Good luck! By the way I dont remember any special tools being involved. Maybe just a pickle fork to separate the components.
