is there anything special you need to do to bolt one up to a non iroc car?

It's a piece of cake. All you need is a ratchet and the correct size socket. Unbolt the two center brackets on the front sway bar, insert wonderbar (heh heh, sounds pornorific!), re-attach center brackets.
