Brake pedal all the way to the floor before stopping!

When I step on my brakes the pedal is really soft and goes all the way to the floor before the car starts to stop...whats up with that...do I need to bleed the brakes any ideas?....AARON

Bleeding is a good place to start. If the problem clears after bleeding but then returns you have a leak somewhere in the hydraulics.

While you're bleeding, look for signs of fluid leakage...wet streaks on the insides of the tires are a sure sign.

Did you check the fluid level? If it's good, try bleeding them, if that don't help theres a good chance you need a new master cyl. and maybe calipers and or wheel cyl. And odds are if the master was good and more than a few years old when it went to the floor the seals inside passed over built up rust in the piston bores and wiped out the seals anyway.
