Want to remove panhard rod to haveit boxed,How hard will it be to put back on?

If i take off my panhard rod to have it boxed, will the rear end move around and make it hard to put back on? I had some problems getting my LCA's back in after haveing them boxed,So i was wondering if i'll have the same problem with the panhard bar.

It shouldn't be too bad if you've got the chassis up on stands, allowing the hanging axle to move left & right. Yes, it will move around a bit - I would keep the car on stands through the whole operation. You will be able to move the axle left/right by hand or with a small pry bar no problem.

Re-installing the lower control arms is more difficult because you are working more against the springs.

I had my panard bar off about a week ago and it wasn't to hard to put back on. May be easier if you have a second person but if you use a pry bar it shouldn't be to hard to line the bolt holes up.

yeah support the frame rails with jack stand and put a jack under the rear end and go about pulling off the panhard bar..using the jack to move it up and down, or left anf right a tad if needed.
