LCA off 4th Gen fit a 3rd Gen?
Just bought a set of Spohn LCA off E-bay for a 4th Gen Firebird/Camero, standard non-adjustable. Are they the same length, bracket widths where they bolt into the same? I was thinking of taking them to the Chasis *** here in town and having him make them adjustable. Now with that being said, by altering the LCA length to change the pinion angle to -3 will it twist/push the rear end too far back and make it off center in the wheel wells? Or, should I keep them just as they come in one peice and get an adjustable torque arm? I've read the torque arms the way to really improve bite, but since it's a strip use only application I was hopin adjustable LCA would do the same thing. Lemme know. I had zero wheel hop and so-so 60' times with the current factory set-up, but I want to tweak and pull some more out of what I got. Hopein the suspension mods will improve my 1/4mi. time a little as every little bit helps.
