Loud pop when i release brake?

when im at a stop light and i release the brake i hear a pop and feel it in the front tires. whats causin this? is it bad? does it have to do with my rear brakes or lack thereof?

Could be ball joints or upper strut mounts

alright it stopped doing it today. today it was much warmer then yesterday and yesterday was much wetter then today. does that play a role?

lol.
Mine clunk noise actually went away for months and finally came back after some hard driving. It was my ball joints.

ok what are ball joints... how much is it going to rape me when i have to replace them and can i replace them myself?

Depends on how motivated you are. Everyone does everthing for the first time. Remember that.
Do a search in the archives. There's a ton of info on ball joints and where they are located.
p.s. Your car has two, one on each arm. The ball joint connects the spindle to the a-arm.

The ball joints themselves are pretty cheap. They're like 15$ bucks canadian for the ****ty ones and $23 for the better ones each.
It's the labour that kills..

thats fair enough. i may be working at Quality care this summer so i dont think labor will be a problem.
