I've been trying to replace my IROC springs (85). The Federal-Mogual web site lists the fronts as part # 5662. The rears seem to be the problem. They're listed as part # 5665 EXC Z28 (82-86. Summit says 82-91, I believe). The variable springs are CC635.
Any help would be appreciated.

James, I believe you have my CD. If so, then there is a spring rate chart listing all of the part#s. One part# covers the top three front spring rates.

Hey, Andy,
I'll check out your CD. By the way (this is a bit off topic, sorry), I'm beginning modification to my spindles for the 1LE upgrade. Where the tapping is concerned, should I simply use a tapered tap of the size you recommend? Also, any news about the rear brakes?

A tapered tap will work just fine.
News concerning the Rear Brake Upgrade "RBU" will be posted soon.
