I just got back from a shop that said it was going to take them about 1 1/2 hours to install my lca's for a grand total of $75. Does this sound right???

Little long on time, but the price sounds about right. They will work to get the mounting bolts off.

yea do it your self. even without air tools. as long as the bolt aren't rusted. give them a squirt of lube the day before you start to get it worked in. it should only take and hour or 2 alone. do one side at a time though.

You can buy some ramps for $20 and do it yourself. It shouldn't take more than an hour. I did my LCAs and panhard bar in a little over an hour and a half last year. You'll need to hold the nut on the side of each bolt and then use a ratchet to get the bolt out. I forget what size they are, but they're pretty big and they're metric. You could buy all the tools you could possibly use back there for $75.

Please disregard- I thought you meant relocation brackets!

If these are weld-in's and you're not a welder, I'd go for their
offer.
I welded mine in (Spohn) with a buddies mig unit, and it took a while to do it right (about 3 hours), total. If they are only bolt in's, you can probably do it for less yourself, though I agree with previous posts that gettting the bolts out is no picnic. I had to physically destroy my stock trailing arms to remove them. I replaced them with Hotchkis units.

That is the results of Chicago winters.

In addition, I replaced my trans mount, torque arm mount and stiffened my torque arm. This totally eliminated the bunny hop I had been experiencing.
