poly graphite.

Anyone using the poly-graphite bushings? They are sold by p-s-t. Bushings are impregnated with graphite to cut down on the squeaking associated with polyurethane bushings. Thanks.

I'd like to know as well. I hate the noise the usual polyurathane bushings make and I'd like to upgrade to the polygraphite ones...

My PST bushings only squeak for a few days after I drive through big puddles. My regular poly bushings with grease fittings don't squeak ever

My PST's have been on my car for about 1.5 - 2 yrs now, no squeaking at all, handling tight as hell!

I wouldn't buy anything else.

good luck

I asked this question a lonnng time ago... asked for people who installed both kits who DIDN'T get squeaks. Had a handful of both PST and ES guys reply... both said they used a lot of grease when they installed the bushings.

I'm about to pick up an Energy Suspension rebuild kit for my car. For so many years, I planned on going with PST, then there was this message on the vendor review spot a year or so ago: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=125197 So I think I'll be sticking with ES.

Um, folks... ES bushings in black have graphite inpregnated in them. PST advertises this fact, but Energy Suspension does it to all their black bushings. The graphite would be a little obvious on colored bushings.

For the most part all the black aftermarket poly bushings are the same. Energy Suspension has been around the longest and has the most recognized name.

LOL... you know, I'm usually the first one to say "go the manufacturer's websites and look up part numbers"- but I never say to read the rest of the website!

http://www.energysuspension.com/prod1.html

For those applications where component twisting typically occurs, our line of black HYPER-FLEX™ polyurethane products contain graphite. This graphite impregnation delivers a self-lubricated effect, reducing the need to lubricate the components.
Thanks again, Drew!
