Question about popping noise in front when braking

Hi everyone. I have a popping noise from the front of my Bird when braking. It does it as soon as the weight shifts forward. Anybody else experienced this? Thanks.

Re: Question about popping noise in front when braking

Could be a few things, damaged FSB bushing, strut, caliper....

check your ball joints and make sure all the brake hardware bolts are tight first..

i agree with breathment. it's probably the ball joints if everything else is tight.

I already put in new ball joints. I think I'll try the calipers next. There old anyway.

if the bolts are tight on the calipers and the brakes are fine and not pulling to either side due to the caliper being stuck i think you would be wasting money. i would check the strut mount bearings or the a arm bushings. but that's just my opinion.
