Relocation Brackets and saftey question

Just a quick question, I bought spohn relocation brackets, probably going to install them this weekend or next when I go to put my 9" in. Will it be safe to only bolt them in until I can get to a shop to have them welded in?

I wouldn't get on it or anything, but it should be safe for a couple miles. Don't quote me on that, I can't remember what they look like.

Also, did you get the ones for the 9" rear?

no, look at the design, it has one bolt holding it in. it could easily pivot.

just take it to the shop, you save no time by bolting it on before, all you have to do is undo 1 bolt. and replace 2 bolts. and then weld it, if you are paying shop rate, in fact, i would unbolt the LCA BEFORE welding it anyway, so you just asymbling it, to disassemble.

I second that... Have them welded before the rear is in the car. You will be able to get the welder to it much easier. I welded mine while under the car, it would have been cleaner if the rear was out, use that to your advantage.

Hmmm, good point. I didn't even think about it that way.
