Stupid question, I guess
I did do a search so don't bash me for that. I'm new to suspension board and I'm a little confused.
What is a Panhard bar/rod as oposed to Lower Control Arms?
On the Spohn website the are the LCAs which I imagine replace the two bars at rear of the car near the diff. I understand what they are and what they do....
.....but what is a Panhard rod and what's it's job?
Thanks in advance for any help.

The panhard bar is the roughly four-foot bar that runs parallel to the rear axle housing and connects one end of the axle housing to the rear of the chassis. Its purpose is to prevent the rear end from moving laterally (side to side) under the car.
The lower control arms are the short trailing arms near each wheel that run from the rear of the chassis to the axle housing and attach near each wheel. They allow the rear end to move up and down. I hope this helps!
