Wheel alignment question
Went to get my wheels aligned today and there were about 7 settings for thirdgen Camaros. However, only one was for IROCS and it was for 85-86 IROCS. Mine is an 87, should I just go with he 85-86 setting? I can't see what the difference would be.
I found specs posted on here a while back:
Total toe in 3/32 (in) - The guy asked me to find out what this was in degrees, which is what he needs.
Any help is appreciated.

According to the '85 shop manual the toe in spec is +15 degrees +/- .05 degrees.

here are the specs from my hunter alignment machine

but personally i would use -.5* camber both sides. caster as positive as it will go on the right side. then .5* less on the left. set toe to a total of .06*

Thanks for the help. I'll pop over tomorrow and let them see what you've posted and see what they say. As long as I'm not getting wear on the outer edge of my drivers side and that annoying shake of the steering wheel at high speeds I'll be happy.

As postive as it will go on the right side, then .5* less on the left?? Is there just a recommendation other than as far as it will go?? I'm thinking of going L: 3.5 R: 4.0.

Is this a drag race setup? My alignment guy disagreed with the camber. I explained to him that I was looking more for a setup towards autocrossing/roadracing.
I suppose that's what he did asthe highway merge ramp was very confidence inspiring, but the parking lot is causing the tire to rub/scrub somewhere underneath.

You want to go the opposite way from whats being suggested for castor because we drive on the left over here. The 0.5* difference is for the crown of the road, so for the uk you should have 0.5* more on the left than the right. having more castor is better for high speed stability, and even going as high as 5degree isn't gonna hurt.
Also I think that Jfreeman meant 0.15degrees, which equates to about the 3/32" total toe in.
Camber is best somewhere between 0.5 and 1degree.

Anyhew, For road racing I would think that you would want almost as much negative? camber as possible. What you're aiming for is that when you turn a corner, the car will roll to the outside, and if the camber is spot on then the car will roll putting the outside tyre (which does most of the work) back flat on the road.
What did you end up with as a spec?

I should have gotten them from him, but it started raining like crazy I that took the thought away.
It must be pretty aggressive as I can't turn too tightly anymore.
