i just was wonderinfg if i need any new suspension parts besides the alignment because i am replacing shocks and struts at the same time
It would depend on how hard you drive the car. For normal daily driving you wont need anything else besides an alignment. If you take the car roadracing and take turns hard, then you might want to look into correcting the changes in your suspension geometry.

i line up with people at stop lights once in a while and sometimes break the speed limits on open backroads in the country but not like roadracing on a track what would i have to change if i change the geometry

Since you like to drag race I would recommend you also get a set of LCA relocation brackets for around $70 they will correct the angle of your LCA's in the rear. When dropped the LCA angle will change and cause alot of wheel hop. The relocation brackets will eliminate any wheelhop and keep the power on the pavement. If you dont roadrace then dont worry about the front.

ok not to sound like an idiot but which one of those bars will be the LCA is it the track bar that runs parallel with the driveshaft or the one that goes at an angle and connects to one side of the rear axle
