well I have a 91 Camaro but the rear end is off from a 89 RS V8. Anyways I also have a 85 Camaro V6 on the side. The cables on my 91 are stretched to hell...will the cables on the V6 work with my rear end? Thanks.

no reason they wouldn't be the same, chassis doesn't change with v6 or v8. have you tried adjusting the cable or brake shoes? steel rope/wire cable doesn't streach very easily.

yeah, usually they break. to answer your question, just as ede said, yes the cables will work.
