how does the spohn torque arm effect everyday driving?

Just wanted to hear from some people who have installed this. I was thinkin after the supercharger gets installed I would need a little more help with traction ! Does the car feel tighter when driving normally? Any info welcome. By the way I was gonna get the one with the driveshaft loop cuz I heard they fixed the original fittment issues.
Thanks for the info in advance

Its the best engineering upgrade that one can do to these cars. GM engineers were asleep at the switch when it came to the stock torque arm mount assembly- they should have come stock with an assembly like Spohns.

I run the Sperical front mount TQ on the street- have for just over a year- daily driver for the wife. It gets slight rearend gear noise from the solid mount rodends but I knew this before hand and expected it. The shifts just in one word "hammer".(fully built 700r4-Darrell Young Racing Transmissions) The torque arm improves the cornering stability much also- I can unload the throttle in the middle of a corner and the *** end stays put- It really corrals weight transfer.

I got the sperical ended torque arm and its bad ***. It improved handling and lauching a whole lot. And the car feels nicer on the street...more..stable I guess you could say.

It definately improved traction from a dead stop and acceleration out of corners. I also experienced improved control under hard braking although it doesn't make complete sense to me since the mounting point is shorter than stock. Maybe someone else can chime in on their braking experience with the t/a.

I have the spherical rod ended t/a. There was an increase in driveline noise. When pressed to describe it before I described it as the sound of a boat propeller when heard under water. It is noticeable but not that bad really. I actually kinda like it.

This was the single best traction mod that I have done (and I have done a lot of suspension mods).

I didn't notice any difference when driving in stop and go city traffic. It gets noticeable when you get a bit spirited with a light or accelerating hard onto the freeway. Overall, a positive improvement. Traction is much improved.

i noticed an increase in traction and bites better when i rip a corner. my launch has improved as well. i can launch at a higher RPM. i have the poly version btw and its perfect for everyday driving. breaking is fun, not much of a nosedive.

How was the road noise compared to stock?, seem like you are the only one that has the poly installed

I have the poly also, and I honestly don't notice the difference in noise. The rod ends on my other parts probably cover up any noise I'd hear from the poly TA.

I have the poly end one.... didn't seem to increse the noise at all... mostly it felt like taking a giant rubber band out of the suspension someplace.... made the car feel more solid.

I had other traction problems at the time, couldn't tell much improvement in the launch; once I got that improved, it seemed to leave much better. I can go around corners without spinning wheels at all now.
