Yeah FYI homeskillet, there was no 95 SS. And assuming you either mean 96 SS or 95Z, then yes the rears and only the rears will work. But the question you should really be asking is, "Do I want to put 8 year old springs on my car?"

yeh it is, a 96, sorry. But the answer to your question, arent 8 year old springs better then 15 yearold springs, if your going by Age?

One springs are worn, they are worn. It does not matter upon age. A worn out sring thats 2 years old will function the sam as a worn out spring that is 20 years old. Brand new Moog replacements can be had for just over 40 bucks from Summit.

are they drop springs? I am really thinking about just keeping the car at stock height. Then again, u woudnt even notice with a 1" drop sring if thats what they are?

I bought the Moog stock replacements for my IROC and then heard that the Moog rear springs are for high load or something and will raise the rear of the car too much.

I don't want to get my car back together and find out the hard way i need new springs again.

Does anyone have input on this?

there are 2 types of moog rear springs IIRC, one is a high load, and one is the normal spring, do a search on moog springs, you shoudl find part #s, i am at work right now, if i have a few spare min. i will try doing a search for you.

ok moog rear spring part #'s

Moog - 5665 Rear spring (it says EXC IROC) this should be the normal height spring, i do not the rate, it may be softer than you want

the one you DON'T want:

CC635 -- this is the Cargo Carrier spring, this will make your **** end sit about 3" high, this is the spring you hear so many people have problems with.

Just a side note. I have the Cargo Coils on my car, and while yes it is a touch higher, its not bad by any means.

Thanks for the part numbers Dewey!

I'm at work so I had my G/F, who works at home, go into the garage and get the part numbers of the springs.

Sure enough I have the cargo springs...

Aklaim, do you have any pics of your car? Do you have the Moog front springs as well? If so how much rake does your car have? What is a touch higher, 1 inch, 2 inches?

I don't want to be a bother but if you could describe in more detail...
