What exactly goes into a WS6?

I'm still new to this WS6 stuff and I was wondering what would I need to do to my car in order to call it a WS6? I've already ordered the Ram Air II hood for her and wanted to know if there is anything else to put on her other than just the title? Thanks for your help. She's a 91 Pontiac Firebird 5.0 305 TBI.

Well, the WS6 is acually a suspension option on 3rd gen Trans Ams and GTA's. The package consisted of 36mm hollow front sway bar, 24mm solid rear sway bar, different springs, and 16x8 wheels.

The Ram Air II hood was part of the WS6 option for 4th gen Trans Am's.

I have a set of WS6 sway bars for sale if your interested, PM or email me. Your not all that far from me so youd probably be able to pick them up.

Umm... I don't care what you bolt on, unless your car came with it from the factory - it ain't a WS6. Sorry.

By comparison, that would be like a honda owner putting on all the v-tech stuff or whatever and calling it a true 'type R'...

Umm...for your info, I'm not putting any WS6 stickers on there chief. It was a simple question and I was curious what I would need in order to make it into a WS6 package. Damn, there's always gotta be one person in the bunch.

I said nothing about stickers. I know someone with a '99 trans am...bought the ram air hood and now tells folks it's a WS6. Folks do the same thing with the 3rd gens.

If you were wondering what the WS6 package contains then you could simply ask that or do a search. Maybe you simply mis-worded the original question?

My bad, didn't actually mean to say that i wanted to call my car a true WS6. I really meant to say that I wanted to get a WS6 package and that part about the title was meant sarcastically. I guess sometimes you can't convey that through the internet.

I believe the WS6s also came with bigger brakes front and back (1LE) and a quicker ratio steering box. I had an '89 Formula 350 - had that stuff.
