Spohn Tranny Mount Problem

Well I just installed successfully the panhard bar and LCA's, now I am trying to do the poly tranny mount I got from Spohn.

My problem is that the studs that come with the new mount will not (a) screw into the tranny (the two side ones) because they are too big for the holes. And (b) the middle stud that sticks down below the crossmember is too big to go through the slot, it's too thick.

So after all the fuss I just put the old one back in. Now can someone please let me know what I should do next? thanks!!!

i am using spohn's crossmember/ta & prothane tranny mount which you have also. they fit fine and use both mount studs on the bottom.

however, i never used the stock crossmember and this mount together.

so i would assume you have to use just one stud to go through the center of the crossmember, if neither stud fits through the hole you might need to make the hole alittle bigger.

i ran into this problem when I installed my trans mount (it's actually from Prothane). I just filed the openings a little wider to get it to fit. Not a big deal, just takes an extra 10 minutes.
