torque are bracket question

Is there anything better that a stock replacement? I replaced it once about a year ago it seem like it broken allready (just the rubber got torn apart). So when the trans shift it makes a thunk sound.

Wow thanks for the quick reply...

Can you just replace the bushing and not the complete bracket what is usually supplied from GM?

All you replace is the bushing but it is a little involved. Click the link below to see how it's done.

Thanks for the pictures.

Weird thing is I jacked up the car this morning to check out the torque arm bushing and its all fine? What could it be? The klunking sound sounds like right underneath the shifter so you can hear it hitting onto the body. Cross menber is not loose, tranny mount is good. Any suggestions?

Nope not yet. I will find out tomorrow when I replace the tranny mount and oil.
