Are the bushes on adjustable panhard rods removable?
May seem like a silly question this, but I need to have a chrome plated panhard rod! It needs to be adjustable due to air suspension. No problems there. Get an adjustable one. BUT, to be chromed, the bushes must be out (obviously). Can they be pushed out without damage? If they are damaged, has anyone replaced any? I see loads advertised, but never see any spare bushes for sale.

Get a rod end PHR and unscrew the rod ends.
Rubber bushings are easy enough to push out, just pull the metal sleeve out of the center and then push them out or knock them out with a hammer. Poly bushings will be a little tougher because they won't squeeze together like the rubber ones.
You could also buy one powdercoated in "almost chrome." Unless you're THAT picky.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I have a press, and I have removed hundreds of the darn things. Unfortunately, pushing the centre out, or removing them with a hammer (or even a press-if you can find a sleeve slim enough to bear on the thin outer edge) damages them, rendering them useless for reuse. If I can't get replacements, the rods will then be useless also.
Using the rod ends is a good idea though.
I am that picky! Must be chrome-no substitutes!
