Bought weld draglites, what lugnuts do I need?

I just bought a set of 15by8 Weld Dralightes with 5.5 inch backspacing, I am putting them on my 86 camaro but I am not sure which lug nuts I need? I think I need the SST Mag 12 by 1.50 lug nutes am I right?

Thanks in advance everyone

First off you need longer wheel studs. The stock ones are dangerously short to use on thick rims like Welds. I bought some Moser wheel studs summit P/N MSR-8254 they're stock diameter just longer. The matching lug nuts are WLD-601-1412

The SST lugnuts are about 1 5/16 inchs long so they look like they will grab a lot of the stud. Was I right about the size I need? I am goin to upgrade to a 12 bolt rear in the near future so I dont want to put anymore money into the stock rear. Do you think it will be ok?

The draglite rims have a floating type hub on them... so there pretty thick... my Xp's are around 1.5" thick... good news is that the lugs are made to go inside the hub so it will grab the stud. So don't flip out when you put the rims on and the studs don't stick out of the rim... unless you want to be strip legal then you need longer studs course longer studs would be a good idea anyways...

If there regular Draglites they will take a SST lug... check ebay I've seen at least 6 or 7 sets go on there for around 40 bucks for all 20.

If you're running draglites on the front also I'd say you *need* longer studs ...the back you can probably get away with but the front is not a good idea. I had a friend snap the studs off in the front going around a corner a little too hard. Did A LOT of damage as you can imagine.

Hey, I dont have the draglites for the front yet, just the rear. So I will be ok with the rears? And what lug nuts size do I need? SST 12 by 1.50?

Thanks again

Ok I just looked up those part numbers on summits website, are the weld lug nuts the same length as the SST lug nuts? Also it says that the lug nuts come in packs of 4, does anyone know if they offer them in packs of 5?

Yeah, to my knowledge SST kind are the same... Crager and Weld are the same companies.

should be 12mm x 1.5

Thanks for the info on the studs guess I'll be buying all new ARP 2.5" ones.
