Lowering Springs: Pro Kit ?
I was thinking of going for the Eibach Pro Kit. How well does this stiffen up the ride and tighten the steering?
they are suppose to add handling and give alittle bit of a lower stance/center of gravity. they should add a positive steering feel within the new body roll limits.
prokit added with ws6 sway bars and a wonderbar should be a very nice handling package for your car.

The springs won't do a thing with the steering. They do give you a much firmer ride and great handling. Buy them.

My Ws6 springs are pretty damn stiff. I get ZERO body roll heck, I can barely push down on the front fender at all to get them to compress. I also feel EVERY little nibble on the road.
Will the prokit be an improvement both in handling and smoothness. I've heard that they are progressive unlike the stock springs which have left a few users unhappy. They complained of the car loosing some precisness by going to a progressive spring...

my car had original WS6 springs that had about 100,xxx miles on them when i replaced them... put in the prokit along w/ KYB shocks/struts and trust me the car is a completely new car. it handles a ton better and the ride is exactly what i wanted. not too stiff but stiff enough to feel like the suspension has been modded. already had the WS6 sway bars and a STB. Now i take on/off ramps at almost twice the recommended speeds w/ no problems. body roll is virtually non-existant (its there and i can tell it but compared to stock its not).
IMO i would do the swap... you will enjoy it!!!

Now that's what I wanted to hear! Nice to hear it from a fellow 89 GTA owner as well. Got any pics of your ride? I already have poly bushing, KYB GR2's front and KYB rear, and some spohn suspension components.
Did you go with relocation brackets when you added the pro-kit? Notice any loss of traction?
Thanks for the help!
