I broke one of the three bolts that hold the drivers side strut cap in place. If I jack up the car so that the front wheel is at full extention and then take the other two nuts off, will the strut cap rise up and hit the master cylinder and be hard to push back down when I install the new bracket with the three bolts?

 

It rises a little when unbolting, you can push it back down easily. I had to replace my bearing plates when I put in my new strut mounts.
