Spohn Pro-Series Rear Drag Sway Bar???
http://www.spohn.net/product.cfm?productid=1437
what is the deal with this thing?
I already have the Spohn LCAs & relocation brackets, panhard rod, and torque arm.
what exactly would i expect from this sway bar??
how will it change the way the car handles on the road?
my main goal is straight line acceleration, BUT, i am into all kinds of driving, so i don't want to do anything to my car that will make it unstable around the twisties.
thanks...

it looks very nice but i think i will be ok with poly endlinks and poly sway bar bushings and the stock 24mm bar. i think not having a front sway bar (which i dont) and using an even thicker way bar like that will maybe make the car handle even worse tha i have now for daily driving.

its will drasticly change the handling of the car. the purpose of it is to keep the rear end from torqueing over, same thing as putting an air bag in one spring. the rear end wants to twist when you launch, this will keep it from doing that. that is why it is so huge, and solidly attached to the frame.
i would not recomend a setup like this on a car that you drive, if you do anything other than drive in a straight line.

It says it all in the name though my friend which would indicate that it's clearly not for daily-driven cars -- Spohn Pro Series Rear DRAG Sway Bar

its a rough ride....but if that doesnt bother you the benefits far outweigh the negatives....same goes for most all parts
i have this drag sway bar on my car and it is very streetable if you are conservative. Otherwise this thing is awesome, and i it keeps the car very straight on lauch. The bar itself is heavy too, but its worth every penny if you dont like your car twisting off the line with hard 1.5 or high 1.4 60 foots. later
