Brakes from 3rd gen rear fit on 4th gen rear?

Will the rotors and calipers from my thirdgen rearend fit on a rearend out of a 2000 Trans Am? I know this is a dumb thing to do, but I'm kind of getting screwed out of the brakes from the 4th gen rear that I purchased. I just need to know if I can swap my current rotors, pads, and calipers over to the 4th gen rear. Thanks.

Don't fret, my man, Ed to the rescue. Just buy the brakes from these guys:

$200 for all you'd need. OR, get a set of 4th gen backing plates and then a 3rd gen setup from a '89-92 PBR rear will work.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to work it out with the seller.

If he's screwing you out of the brakes, don't buy the rear. If it's Ebay, take the Neg feedback and go on. It's worth it IMO. If the rear's free or dirt cheap, bite bullet and buy another set of brakes.
