braided brake lines worth it

braided brake lines worth it
My 91 Z has a slightly mushy brake peddle. I have double checked to make shure there is no air in the system and the pads have been replaced, however the flexible lines have never been replaced. I was thinking of trying the braided ones, but didnt know if it was worth the time. Has anyone noticed a differance with them? Thanks

I was watching 2 guys garage on Speed Tv the other day and I say them talk about this. The factory rubber lines will expand when under extreme pressure. Expecially with High output break systems like Wilwood or Baer this drop in pressure will decrease your stopping ability, expecially in hard breaking. The braided lines will fix this problem because they do not expand or bubble when under extreme pressure.

As I recall, I purchased mine from Summit, but Jeg's no doubt has them as well--now that I consider, Spohn carries them too. Check there first, otherwise you may be confused about what you need. Here's the link for others who may be interested:
