Control Arm Bolts

Control Arm Bolts

Trying to get the rear control arm to body bolt. would heating do any good since its rusted on the inside of the bushing? I'm talking stuck a brand new Ingersol Rand 232TGSL impact gun wouldnt even budge it.

screw a nut on it to protect the threads and try a BFH

You could also use a grinder or a dremel (would take a little while) to take off the bolt or head of the nut. Also a little penetrating oil and letting it sit overnite may solve your problem as well.

Trash it and then replace it with a new one. TomP posted a whole list of new bolts for suspensions a while back, the part numbers are all there.

Axle/Gears: 3.27 BW 9-bolt
I had to cut mine out with a Sawzall too. It takes awhile...the bolts and sleeves are very hard. Use good bi-metal blades and a lubricant while you're cutting to save the blades. You will probably go through a few of them.
