Z28 vs IROC suspension

So I've been reading this section of the board, and I've gathered that the IROCs came with substantially(?) better suspensions than the Z28s did, correct? Assuming that is true, would it be worth it to replace suspension components from my Z28 with those from an IROC? I'm definatley going to pick up a wonderbar, but is it worth it to get sway bars, and maybe stiffer shocks or other parts? Feel free to drop your opinions, I'm all ears as I'm pretty new to this. Keep in mind that I'm pretty broke, otherwise I'd just order up some stuff from Spohn, and I do have an IROC whose parts are available to me fairly cheap. Thanks!

I think the spring rates were different. I know they got bigger sway bars though.

Same as GTA's. 36mm solid, and 24mm solid rear. or so I've been told. I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time.

Yea check the rpo codes. FE2 is the sport suspension. It is a very nice setup.

The front iroc springs are 1/2in shorter than Zs,but the spring rate(i believe) is the same 548in lbs.Rears are probably indenticle.Irocs have larger sway bars.stiffer shocks(how old though).slightly harder(higher rate"durameter") bushings(but again how old).If the shocks/bushing are wasted.Your better off w/aftermarket.Some irocs had the TBI eng.Maybe those are the ones w/the modest springs/suspension.Maybe TPI irocs came w/different performance options(brakes, springs, sway bars, etc.(just a guess though).
