first suspension mod
What is the best first suspension mod? Car specs : 5.7 , TPI , Crane 2032 , longtube headers , ported plenum , AFPR , 24# SVO inj. . The tranny is currently being rebuilt with Transgo shift kit, .500 boost valve, vette servo, and vette converter. 3:23 rear end gears. Daily driver with weekend dragstrip duties.
I already have polly tranny mount and end link bushings, but that is all.

I assume that car came with the 36/24 swaybars?
If so, poly/graphite mount them.
TDS Wonderbar (might have came with stock one)
Then I would say LCA's in the rear, or Panhard bar.
Edit, re-read your post. I would go with LCA's and Panhard.

Sub-Frames.
end of story. unless you have other issues, in which case, fix your issues first, then subframs

I installed Sub-frames, swaybars (34/24) with poly bushings and end links and a wonder bar. The best investment I have done since I bought this car. When i put them on I was like: "dude, is this really the same car, my car?"

Ive been told by a bunch of people that the only reason my car has run a best of 14.25(14.4s typically) while being 100% Stock is because of the subframe connectors.

Thanks for all of the replies, I will go with the Spohn SFC's since I am putting a Spohn drive shaft loop in when the tranny goes back in. I have read that when the SFC's are welded in it can melt your carpet, is this true? And if it is coud'nt you put ice packs or something on the carpet so it dont melt.
Shocks, shocks, shocks first! I don't care what else you do, if you don't have GOOD shocks on the car then it will not handle- shocks above SFC's
#2- GOOD tires
#3- Wonderbar, so you don't crack the frame under harder cornering loads
#4- SFC's

subframe connectors which is did first and had all my other stuff already bought to throw on. i didnt melt carpet since its on the very outside of the unibody just weld / spray with and air gun, move over do it again etc..

I agree also with SFC's. If you want a super easy and cheap mod (around 60 bucks) throw a wonderbar on it. I figured since I had SFC's and stuff a wonderbar wouldn't do that much, but it did. You should see a big difference in handling it makes the front end feel a lot tigher.
