Rear PBR Upgrade???`

I have an 87 Borg-Warner rear with disc brakes and they are the standard option. Can I just purchase the PBR rear brakes at Advance (they do carry them) and bolt them on without any mods? Thanks

Depends what you mean by bolt-on... if you also replace the pads, rotors, caliper mounting hardware, caliper brackets, brake hoses, parking brake cables and backing plates, then yes you can bolt the calipers on without any mods.

So to switch it over, I have to buy everything then? I can't just buy the caliper and bolt it on, are the rotors bigger too? and why would the mounting have to change?

There is nothing remotely similar between the cast iron Delco Moraine calipers and the aluminum PBRs.

Here's a thread, which includes a pic, that may help:

Another Kansan, huh, cool! By the way, I'm in the process of swapping to PBR's. If I can be of any help, let me know.
