never heard of stock SFC's... never heard of welding SFC's on being illegal... why would it be illegal to make your car stronger and handle better?

There was never any "stock" SFCs. I would recommend Spohn's
for weld on or Jeg's for bolt on. Either way, they are all legal! At
least here in USA. I don't know about the passenger vehicle laws
in Canada. You will have to check on that.

For personal preference, I use Jeg's SFCs. I couldn't have them
welded at the time. So, I went with the bolt ons. I have no
problems with Jeg's. I recommend Spohn's because of their
quality work and product. I have bought like $1000 worth
of stuff through them, and plan on buying about $3000 more!

No. But I will have PLENTY of pics of my car ( inside/out)
once I get my project rolling. But that won't be until
like about a month from now. Hoping sooner.

I'd say just get the Spohn ones and have done with it.

Edit: go to spohn's site for pictures of installed SFCs

Oh yeah Spohn does have pics of installed SFCs.
Good thinking, George!

Yeah, I agree. Buy the Spohn ones and have them welded.
I don't have any problems with my Jeg's SFCs, just that
Spohn is more popular and most people want welded in
SFCs. You can always have bolt on SFCs welded anytime
though, for extra piece of mind ( and strength).

thanx alot

thanx alot but in canada you can weld your frame at wour own risk.
your legal til you get caught. only garage approved by S.A.A.Q(society of automobile insurance of québec)are aloud to weld frame between front and back wheels and after your car needs to pass a complete inspection to be aloud on street!

bolt on plz only!!!

Ok, then you will have to buy these:
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...05&prmenbr=361

They require you to drill holes in the floor pans for the
front, but just about any bolt on SFCs for thirdgens, you
have to! I don't know who else makes bolt ons. I think
Competition Engineering, but not sure. Most companies
make just the weld on type. Try doing a search in your
search engine ( if you have one on your PC). Use words
like "82-92 Camaro subframe connectors".
