fix/replace the brake line need advice

here is the story: a couple of days ago the left rear side of the engine bay was smoking, so I took a look and found some fluid on the break line, two inches or so to the left is the exaust and right above it is the starter to give you and idea where I saw it. I checked the brake fluid and it was low: 2+2= slow leaking brake line. so finaly heres the question what should I do? I can try brake leak stop, or replace if that don't work, and which type of brake line would be best, easy, cost effective. details on what brand a link would be nice. just general advice would be helpfull.
note: I did put a new starter in a few monthes ago and as you all know that rubis cube of a problem requires some movement of the lines. thx for any help.

buy a piece of line the correct length and bend it to fit. replace the whole line. doesn't really matter who makes the line or fittings.

Places like classictube.com sell stainless steel brake lines for our cars, if you want to make sure that never happens again!

If you want to bend your own, you'll need an ISO flare tool. paradisetool.com has a great price on one (search for "ISO flare"). (Old Forge = manufacturer, part # 7208.) You could re-use the fittings, just make sure to put them on the newly bent line - in the correct direction - before you flare the ends! (don't ask...)

hahahaha, good one Tom. I can imagine trying to get that fitting on the flared line!

You're like the test run for my upgrades.
