Putting on Earl SS brake line?
MY Earls SS brake lines will be here tomorrow from Spohn's and I want to get a head start on things.
How do I take the old rubbers off? am I going to be reusing the line brackets that are attached to the rubber lines? (I have them marked) or will they not be used with the SS lines?
If there are going to be reused how do I get the lines off of them?
DO I undo the bolt that holds them on and then work on removing the lines?
Or do I just undo the bolt marked in red and then take all the rubber lines off with the brackets attached.
Sorry for the stupid questions!..
thanks!

Once disconnected plug the line so that the master doesn't drain - like put a rubber cap over it or whatever.
Get penetrating oil on the fittings first though . Once it's soaked use compressed air to blast the crud away so it don't get into the lines.
Use a 3/4 box (not 3/4 inch obviously but a proper line wrench) to loosen the bolts - two wrenches where needed. Once the fittings loosen a bit rock them back and forth to help free up the threads.
After it's loosened off but before disconnecting - give it another blast of air to get rid rust, crud etc.
I noticed quite a difference with these lines once installed.
