What Brand Torq Arm??
Hey guys, this is my first thread started. I searched archives and couldn't find my answer. Tonight I twisted my torq arm. It basically happened like this: I was driving with my wife when we came along a car driving slow and looking like he was turning left. I went to pass the guy on the right and he turned into my car. He dented my driver side door. I pulled forward to stop and he continued to turn and drove off. I put the car in reverse, hit the gas and Pa-dow.
I guess I hit the gas to hard??
Anyway couldn't catch the bastard because the torq arm was slamin' around. Now I am going to upgrade my torq arm. Who sells the best torq arm? The two I am looking at are Spohn & Random Tech. Thanks Guys.

Spohn makes some high quality stuff, that would be my best bet.

Just ordered my new Torque Arm from Sphon.
Thanks fo the advice. I decided to go with Spohn because they have a set up that mounts the arm on the trans x-member instead of the tail shaft. I have a 3 week wait but, I can still drive my '92 RS(I bent the IROC Arm).

Well, I got the Arm Friday June 18th. It took Five weeks!! Anyway, the part looks great. I installed it and wouldn't you know MY LS1 Driveshaft rubbed. I'll be honest. The driveshaft loop did not appear to be welded in the proper location. The loop was clearly visible looking under the car on the ground. The loop will hit every speed bump. I called Spohn. To be honest again, they were very little help. They acted as if there was nothing wrong with the part. Safe to say, I did more research on the boards and found I was not alone with this problem. I finally put the car back up in the air and took a screw jack with a piece of wood on top and bent the loop into its proper location. Everything is ok now and I feel good again. I did not damage the powder coating in any maner, that was my biggest concern. All in All I am happy, I just wish Sphon took a little more proactive aproach to problems encountered.
