Is the suspension compressed? I'm pretty sure it has to be.

the rear end isnt in the car, even if it was, how would that help the bracket line up? i need to get it square to weld it. does anyone know if the adjustable lcas from spohn come at the same lentgh as the stock ones?

Just lay them next to your stockers and adjust them so that they are. Or install the brackets with the stock LCA's and then just put the adjustable ones in later. That way everything is lined up.

Is it better to have these welded in with the rear-end out?

Or will I be fine to have mine welded on as long as they are bolted on and flush with the back? You all have me paranoid now.

thats exactly my concern, is it possible to get them lined up correctly without the control arm bolted up on the car.

I would wait until the rear is in the car. Although I didn't put mine in I am pretty sure they bolted everything up and tached it, then they pulled the LCA and starter bolt to finish off the weld.

BTW: Mine are not exactly flush with horizontal.

I would weld them on with the rear OUT... its easy to get them Lined up...Run a magnetic angle finder on the stock backplate and then match the number to the backplate of the LCA...They dont necessarily sit flush if you will...Mine was pretty close...the important thing is getting the plate mounted at the same angle as the original... especially if you do not have adjustable LCA's

Loosely bolting the stuff up seems questionable to me given the slop in the holes for the bolt on part and the fact that when loose the rear end does not always want to sit 100% square... the load from the rear would manuipulate where the brackets were sitting..
