FRONT control arm lol
alright, since i went out and bought the rear LCA cause i didn't know what the hell i was tryin to find (gonna keep em since i want to upgrade all my suspension sooner or later) i am still needing to fix my front LCA, which i think i learned now is called an A-arm? but anyways...i am going to take it to pepboys tomarrow and see if i just need an alignment to get it up and running...but my question is, if i do need to replace it, or even if i do...what is the difference from stock as to performance..i was lookin at that one link i got from someone that redid his whole suspension, and i was thinkin that i'd just por15 alot of my pieces that i didn't feel would give me to much difference performance wise when i redid my suspension..tryin to figure out if the A-arm is one of those pieces?
stock is fine...everyday driver i'd leave it alone. may need new bushings and balljoint but that would be it. beyond that going tubular is really the only upgrade and it's more of a weight thing however since it isn'r rotational you would have to do more then the a arms up front to see a benefit. when you replace everything with tubular pieces and go lighter with your motor you'll get a better distribution of weight but i wouldn't worry about it if i were you.
