My LCA's angle?
My car is lowered with DZ springs...Ive been looking for other parts to buy and was doing a search on the angle of the LCA's.....On my car the rear of the LCA are angled towards the top. Is this correct? and does that affect my launching at the strip in any way even if I dont get that much wheel spin?
If the angle is wrong what do I need to get to get the correct angle? what is the correct angle? Do aftermarket LCA's really help that much?

It is wrong.
Yes you will have major problems with launch. If you have any power at all and don't spin, it will wheel hop like you won't believe.
The cure is LCA relocation brackets.
LCAs themselves will not fix the defective geometry. They will help your launch however, by being rigid, rather than the rubbery floppy weakness that factory put there.

you want the rear side of the arm lower than the front side. this prevents the rear from rolling upward. this is according to the person i talked to at BMR. if you leave it the opposite way, the rear will try to move forward while rolling upward. which when you look at it, it makes sense. now, did i notice any difference? not really that i could tell. but i guess going from 1.8x to a couple of 1.7x 60ft doesn't lie.

and those are the exact kind I was looking at, the BMR's I like the bolt-ons cause if something was to ever happen to the rear I could still remove them and not have to worry about having to buy another set if I had to replace the rearend.
Do the bolt-on's hold up OK without having to weld them?

excellent!....well thats what I'll get then, those and some LCA's Im getting the rear ready for the 3000 stall Im going to order too.
Im running 14.2 now and I will get into the 13's with my 305 or kill it! but Im trying to get there without having to open up the engine again. yeah I regret putting in the LT1 cam, I should have gone to a better cam and also done my heads to while I was there but you live and learn!
thanks!
