Abs Light
I just changed my front brakes and now i notice my ABS light is always on. Somone told me you might have bumped the ABS. Well I don't even know where is the ABS. I own a 92 caprice with 305 EFI. Where is my ABS and how do i fix this problem.

Do you still have your old rotor? Its a 92 caprice?
The exciter ring looks like a 6" dia wheel with multiple teeth notched into the outer radius.
If you look at the inside face of the rotor you will see it. You cant miss it.
Its conceivable that you got a rotor without the exciter ring. I say that because I know that 90-92 S10 rotors are IDENTICAL to 82-92 f-body rotors EXCEPT for the pressed on exciter ring. May have been just a parts mixup.
Guess you'll have to pull it apart one more time just to be sure before you spend $$ on diagnostics.
DO you have an ABS repair book? They can be finicky and some have special bleeding procedures.

Sometimes your supposed to remove the old ring and install them on the new rotor. There is also a gap that you are supposed to set between the exciter ring and the wheel speed sensor. You need to use non magnetic feeler gauges to set it.
