Anti rattle brake clips

Hi all,

I need some anti rattle clips that attach to the inner front brake pads for my 82 Trans Am. Whoever owned my car before me must've thrown them away and so my pads rattle all the time.

Can someone please tell me what the part number is and a good place to buy them from? I can't pop down to the local junk yard and look cos I don't live in the USA so parts are not plentiful here.

I think you can get replacement anti rattle clips at that local Napa store.

Oh jeez, I just noticed you were a Kiwi. No wonder you're having trouble getting simple parts. The link provided above to the Napa website should help, but I don't know if they'll ship overseas.

Best luck.

You got it. I did send an email off to them and got a request for service number back inquiring about the clips but haven't had a reply just yet. It hasn't been 24 hours since I made the request. Here's hoping!!

I got a reply from Napa but they don't send outside of the USA.

Any other places I can try?

Hit me with a PM or email and I'll pick you up a set of the Napa clips and send them out to you. I believe the ones I pick up are in a package of guide pin bushings & clips for around 4.50USD per side.
