Id talk to the manager, show him all the defects within the
job , and demand a compensation for the damage.
And I wouldnt go alone, bringging ppl with you makes for
a better deffence I find.
If you go alone, the mechanics and/or shop owner can try
to contradict you, claim not responsible..
The more attention the situation gets , the quicker they might want to solve it.
And i wouldnt pay, and leave the car there, as if you leave, they
could blame the damage on a later action.
anyhow, good luck to you 91rs, hope you get your way.

I swear...sometimes I think monkeys would work better on my car rather than some of these goons at the shops.
Good luck to you my friend.

The shop I go to at first almost switched one front and one back, but they realized it before they even bolted them on. lol, also the one guy didn't realize the tires were directional at first. Actually, I think that's how it got screwed up in the first place, he forgot which rim was going on what corner, etc. They realized it and corrected it immediately though, like I said they didn't even bolt them up. You would think that most shops would fix an error like that as my shop did (if they even make the error in the first place).

well i still am having trouble! i have been back there like 4 times. i went back and they said i had a bad front tie rod so i had that fixed. then i drove it home then it stilled pulled to the right. then i called him and said it still pulls to the right so he said i will have to have it for 4 hrs i said ok i will drop it off . ok first i had to have my wheele turned to the left so the top of the wheel was diagonal to make the car go straight. so i get back there to get my car and some desk worker gives me my keys and says he did not find anything i drive it home and the wheel is level now but
IT STILL PULLS TO THE RIGHT!! and now theres play in the wheel when i turn right and its tighter when i turn to the left. could the dumb person who put my wheels on rong have schued something up? Banned

If you really believe its their incompetence that is causing the problem, AND it keeps getting worst every time they touch it (Sounds this way to all of us here)
I highly recommend you take your reciepts showing the work performed to ANOTHER "REPUTABLE" shop and pay them to fix the problems while DOCUMENTING what errors where done by the previous shop- again, show them your reciepts first before any fixes are peformed.
Then go back to the original shop with copies of those repair reciepts and demand your money back for the shabby work performed AND what damage they caused (The other shop can disclose this info for you also and let you know what the first shop is liable for). They will pony up or will lose in small claims court.

I would go to a real shop, have it fixed correctly, then take the first idiots to small claims court and get ALL of your money back from them plus the money to fix what they screwed up. It's a hassle, but it's obvious that they are in over their heads and will continue to screw things up even worse if you keep taking it back. They have no clue what the problem is.
